It is a lively and joyfull educational activity that teaches the old rope twisting craft. There is a saying “Spinning Like a Winder”, so educational participants will rotate like real winders – they will learn about famous Skaudvilė markets and Samogitian horses, how to twist the rope, play Lithuanian folk games and even try to create their own Lithuanian multipart song.

Exile and Resistance Museum has a unique exhibition dedicated to deportations. On the first floor of the museum we can see various items of deportees brought from exile. In the educational program, students can take a closer look at each exhibit, see what they might not even notice sometimes, because they have to do it in the dark using only a flashlight.
